What Our Customers Say
Common questions
Do I need a permit for a he shed or she shed?
It depends on the size, where it sits on your lot, and what goes in it. Very small storage sheds can sometimes skip a building permit, but once you add electrical or finish it as a room, plan on permits. Setbacks and HOA rules apply either way. We check the requirements for your address during the backyard visit.
Can it match my house?
Yes, and that is one of the main reasons people go custom. We match your stucco color, roof material, and trim so the shed looks like part of the property.
Will it be comfortable in an Albuquerque summer?
With insulation and a mini-split, yes. A Level 3 build is heated and cooled like any room in your house, so you can use it in July and January.
Can it have a bathroom or a place for guests to sleep?
A sink or wet bar is often possible. A full bathroom or a sleeping room usually moves the project into casita or guest house territory, which has different code and zoning requirements. We build those too, so ask and we will walk you through it.
How do you get power out there?
We trench from your house to a small subpanel in the shed. The electrical work is done by our licensed electrical partner.
